GM Tech Nerds!
Leaks. Everybody loves them (apart from Hilary). But when it's a new phone, and not just any ol' blower โ the new flagship Pixel 10 Pro XL.
Well, consider our attention well and truly captured.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL was one of the best phones released in 2024; it's still a kick-ass buy now.
But today, we get our first look at its successor: the Pixel 10 Pro XL. โ
And that's just the cherry on top, there's loads of other dirt to get through in today's edition.
๐ฅ In this drop:
- ๐ New OnePlus phone with a massive display + Dimensity 9400+ chip
- ๐ธ Pixel 10โs camera rumors raise eyebrows (and questions)
- ๐ง Googleโs secret investment in Anthropic revealed in court
- โ๏ธ A new MVNO lets you buy vanity numbers by area code
- ๐๏ธ Google Photos rolls out a new โundo backupโ trick
- ๐ฑ Motorola Edge 60 Fusion leaks in new renders
- ๐ Oppo exec spills the Find X8 Ultra specs

- ๐ Apple re-enables Apple Intelligence in iOS 18.3.2
- ๐ Survey says: People prefer this flagship over Samsungโs S25 line
Letโs get into the juice ๐
The Main Event...
๐ฑ PIXEL 10 PRO XL LEAKS: BIG SCREEN, SAME VIBES, AND A LAUNCH ON THE HORIZON
Say hello to the Google Pixel 10 Pro XLโnow leaked in full, and yep, itโs bringing that big-screen energy with a 6.8-inch display and almost identical dimensions to its predecessor.
If you were expecting a design overhaulโฆ keep waiting.
According to the latest info, the Pixel 10 Pro XL comes in at 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5mmโbasically a carbon copy of the Pixel 9 Pro XL, down to a few tenths of a millimeter.
But honestly, thatโs not a bad thing.
Some people like compact power, others want screen real estate that feels like a cinema in your hand. Googleโs continuing to cater to both.
๐ Why it matters:
- Googleโs sticking to a dual flagship strategyโbig phone lovers, rejoice
- No radical design changes, but expect internal upgrades + Android 16 out of the box
- Consistency = reliability. Some users like the subtle refinement route
And yes, that launch timeline? August, just like last year.
But this time, itโs all syncing up with Android 16, expected to hit AOSP in early June.
Also in the pipeline: weโre still waiting for leaks on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but if last yearโs playbook is anything to go by, itโll drop alongside the rest of the Pixel 10 lineup.

๐ NEW ONEPLUS MONSTER PHONE PACKS A 6.83โ DISPLAY & DIMENSITY 9400+
OnePlus is cooking up a beast. A new model is on the horizon with a huge 6.83-inch display and a blazing-fast Dimensity 9400+ chipset, according to this leak.
This thingโs shaping up to be a proper flagship slayerโexpect next-gen performance, premium design, and a screen thatโs basically a tablet in disguise.
๐ Why it matters:
- OnePlus might be going after the Galaxy Ultra crowd
- Dimensity 9400+ is a serious performance leap
- A massive screen like this could make it a productivity or media powerhouse
๐ธ PIXEL 10 MAY BE GETTING A TELEPHOTO LENSโฆ BUT AT WHAT COST?
Well, well, wellโjust when we thought Google had finally nailed a clean, understandable Pixel lineup, the Pixel 10 leaks have thrown a wrench in the works.
New renders are making waves, and not because of a radical redesign (spoiler: itโs basically the same shape and size as the Pixel 9).
The big headline? The regular Pixel 10 might be getting a telephoto lensโa feature thatโs traditionally been reserved for the more expensive Pro models.
If this leak holds up, the Pixel 10 could feature a third rear camera, likely a telephoto or periscope-style lens, similar to what we see on the Pixel 9 Pro.
Thatโs a massive shake-up in how Google separates its standard and Pro modelsโand it raises more questions than it answers.
๐ Soโฆ whatโs the point of the Pro now?
If the base Pixel gets a main sensor, an ultra-wide, and a telephoto, what are you really paying that $200 premium for anymore?
Slightly more RAM? A marginally better display panel? A glossier finish youโre just going to slap a case over anyway?
Letโs be realโGoogleโs camera system has always been the main draw, and if that gap between the base and Pro models shrinks this much, the entire product hierarchy starts to feel a little blurry.
๐ง GOOGLEโS SECRET INVESTMENT IN AI STARTUP ANTHROPIC REVEALED

- MVNOs keep getting creative to stand out in a crowded market
๐ GOOGLE PHOTOS NOW LETS YOU โUNDO DEVICE BACKUPโ
โGoogle Photos is rolling out a handy new featureโโUndo Device Backupโ, giving you more control if you accidentally sync stuff you didnโt want to.
๐ Why it matters:
- More privacy control = good
- Great for managing device clutter and syncing mishaps

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion just leaked, and itโs looking slick. Expect curved edges, refined design, and a solid mid-range spec sheet. Motorolaโs continuing to make quiet moves in the premium mid-tier space.

๐ Why it matters:
- Oppo continues to bring aggressive flagship specs with bold design
- Could put more pressure on Samsung and OnePlus this year
๐ GOOGLE SMART GLASSES? LOOKING LIKELY
Thanks to a new acquisition of eye-tracking tech, it looks like Googleโs not done with smart glasses just yet. AdHawkโs tech could power the next-gen wearable UI.
๐ Why it matters:
- Google Glass 2.0? Maybe.
- Eyes will be the next touchscreenโwatch this space
๐ APPLE RE-ENABLES APPLE INTELLIGENCE IN IOS 18.3.2
โApple just pushed iOS 18.3.2 and iPadOS 18.3.2, and one of the key changes?
โ
It automatically re-enables Apple Intelligence features if you had them turned off before. Subtle, sneaky, and very Apple.
๐ SURVEY: THIS FLAGSHIP IS BEATING THE ENTIRE S25 RANGE
A new survey shows users prefer a rival flagship over Samsungโs Galaxy S25 series. No spoilers, but letโs just say Samsungโs Ultra isnโt the crowd favorite anymore.
๐ Why it matters:
- Signals shifting loyalty in the flagship space
- Samsungโs pricing and features might not be hitting the sweet spot anymore
